Henry Ford Peace Expedition records, [ca. 1915]-1916.

Photographs, pamphlets, clippings, and papers relating to the "Henry Ford Peace Expedition to Europe" in the winter of 1915-1916, assembled by Miss Mary Alden Hopkins, a member of the expedition. The collection includes contemporary newspaper accounts of the expedition, passenger lists, lists of members, the "Manifesto" appealing to the neutrals, and other official statements issued by Louis P. Lochner, General Secretary of "The Neutral Conference for Continuous Mediation" at Stockholm. There are also six typed drafts of articles on the expedition, its aims, objectives, and members, by Miss Hopkins, and a large group of photographs of members, people whom they met in Europe, and places which they visited. The material is in manuscript, typescript, near-print, and print.
